Surety Litigation Seminar Now Available

Wolf, Horowitz, Etlinger & Case is pleased to announce that its Fidelity and Surety Practice Group is offering a Surety Litigation to its clients, and any other insurance carrier or company with an interest. This in-house training session titled: "Resolving Performance Bond Exposures through Assignments of Bonded Contracts." The presentation addresses one option potentially available to sureties where a principal is unable to complete its bonded obligations. The premise of the presentation is that assignments of bonded contracts to a new contractor can, under certain circumstances, be more feasible or advantageous to a surety than a tender, takeover, or buyout of the bonded obligation.

The duration of the presentation is approximately one hour to an hour and a half. The materials include sample assignment agreements that are readily adaptable to a host of claim contexts. Contact Matthew Horowitz (mhorowitz@wolfhorowitz.com) to schedule a time when this seminar can be presented at your location.
